Our planes are ready to fly – they are serviced by in-house A&P / IA
Simulator – we are utilizing an FAA-approved AATD “CR-12 ProPanel”
Aviation Training Devices (ATDs) – Simulators – are valuable tools in flight training.
Advanced ATDs (AATDs) are more sophisticated than Basic ATDs (BATDs), thus they are legally allowed to be used towards training for all levels of pilot licenses and ratings: PPL, IR, CPL, CFI, CFII, ATP.
Modern simulators allow to:
- Perform a certain number of hours of training in them, thus reducing overall training cost towards a pilot license or rating;
- Effectively familiarize the student with the new Airplane Model or Airplane Class in the classroom environment (new instruments layout, new avionics);
- Effectively practice abnormal and emergency procedures in the classroom environment;
- Effectively introduce a pilot to the Multi Engine Airplane and concepts of single-engine operations in it, in the classroom environment, before proceeding to the actual airplane;
- Effectively introduce a student to Instrument Procedures at a much lower cost; practice a particular instrument approach down to the established weather minimums before flying that approach in actual IMC, including practicing a go-around procedure.
- Maintain required instrument currency (six instrument approaches, holding procedures and tasks, intercepting and tracking courses through the use of navigational electronic systems);
- Practice when the weather is not suitable for the lesson in the actual airplane.
